The Men of Redeemer (MOR) mission statement: “Encouraging men, through relationships, to seek Christ-centered living.”

Men of Redeemer is a unique ministry designed for men on their spiritual journeys, connecting and forming disciples through activities offering spiritual growth, intellectual stimulation, and fun.

Whether you’re a newcomer to the parish, or a long-time friend or member, we are confident that MOR can bless your faith and your life!

CONNECT THROUGH FELLOWSHIP

Connection events held during the year include activities such as:

  • Annual Golf Tournament — Since 1995, the Men of Redeemer have held an annual golf tournament to raise funds to support community and parish outreach through the Men’s Ministry combining fun, fellowship and fund raising. To register, link here.

  • Movie/Date Night
  • Family Canoe Trip
  • Family Baseball Outing
  • Daughter/Father Outing 
  • Couples bowling night
  • Annual MOR Steak Night – Great food, motivating speakers, and an inspirational evening of connecting with men just like you.
  • The Men of Redeemer supporting Cub Scout Pack 24

  • Day of Hope – an annual event welcoming some of Sarasota’s homeless and at-risk children and their families to help meet a child’s basic back-to-school needs.

REACH A HIGHER LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING THE POWERS OF GOD

Equipping events designed to further your understanding of your faith and continue to develop your relationship with Christ.

  • Business Men’s Bible Study: Every Wednesday in Room ??? of Gillespie Hall at 7am sharp and ending at or before 8am.
  • Friday Men’s Prayer Breakfast – Every Friday in the Eva Pope Room of Gillespie Hall; 7:15 AM to 8:30 AM. Weekly discussions based on the prior Sunday’s service gospel. All are welcome.
  • Saturday Men’s Prayer Group – Every Saturday in the Eva Pope Room of Gillespie Hall; 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Weekly gathering for prayer and study. All are welcome.
  • Radical Mentoring – 3-5 men with similar life progression issues meeting monthly to discuss and resolve issues with a mentor and other men in the same stage of their lives.

Leadership Development activities are designed to build your spiritual foundation and strengthen your relationship with Christ to help other men with their lives.

  • “Christian Leadership Concepts” – an in-depth examination of Holy Scripture and its application to modern day life
