The Church of the Redeemer will hold its first Solemn Evensong of the 2011/2012 season on Sunday, 18 September at 5:15 p.m. This Evensong is a special celebration of the 400th anniversary of the King James version of the Bible and will include a wine and cheese reception on the church’s veranda immediately following the service.

Music will include the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, “Short Evening Service” by Richard Ayleward, and “Civitas Sancti Tui” (Thy Holy City), by William Byrd.
