The Church of the Redeemer has a dynamic, supportive, educational and fun Episcopal Youth Community (EYC). The EYC is for school-age youth in grades six through 12, and offers many opportunities for learning, growing, sharing, and discussing the Episcopal faith and the particular challenges facing youth in today’s world. To learn more, contact Redeemer’s Youth Minister at 941.955.4263 or email email@example.com
Take Your Place!
Here are just a few of the ways to become more involved in your parish and connect with other youth.
Youth Group: Redeemer’s youth groups, Jr. EYC for 6th – 8th graders, and Sr. EYC for 9th – 12th graders, meet weekly. Jr. EYC meets on Wednesday nights, 6:00 – 7:30 pm, and Sr. EYC meets from 6:00 – 7:30 pm Sunday evenings.
Acolytes: A great way to participate in Redeemer’s various liturgies.

Music Program: Please contact Ann Moe in the Parish Office and share your gifts, 955.4263. Canterbury Choir, for middle and high school girls, meets Monday afternoons from 5:15 – 6:30 pm. Instrumentalists are always welcomed within our music program, and a musical theater youth production is usually presented each spring.
Church School (Sunday mornings): Classes will continue to take place throughout the academic year for all youth from 10:10 to 10:45 am on Sunday mornings in the classrooms above Gillespie Hall.
Community Service: A true sense of mission (plus community service hours) abounds through involvement in our summer mission trips, VBS and LOGOS. To learn about some of EYC’s past mission trips, visit Biloxi Building on the Bayou and Mission Work in the Dominican Republic.
