Attention parents of “Confident Walkers” through 3 year olds: Redeemer’s Sunday morning nursery will reopen on 13 December for this specific age group only, and strictly by registration, for the 9 AM
Event Details
Attention parents of “Confident Walkers” through 3 year olds:
Redeemer’s Sunday morning nursery will reopen on 13 December for this specific age group only, and strictly by registration, for the 9 AM and 11 AM Sunday masses. A total of eight children can be accommodated in our two newly-refreshed parallel nurseries.
For the safety of all, Redeemer’s is no longer a “drop-in nursery.” Registration is required each week, and registration will open Mondays at 9:30 AM, and close on Fridays at 5 PM.
Parents, please read below to best prepare for a safe and fun time for your child.
*Register your child below to reserve a spot for the 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM Sunday service. Nurseries will be open at 8:45 for 9:00 service check-in, and at 10:45 for 11:00 service check in. To provide adequate time to thoroughly clean between masses, we ask that parents pick children up immediately following the mass.
*Check-in your registered child on the second floor veranda of the Robinson Center. At check-in, your family’s temperatures will be taken, and we will give you a pager in case we need to notify you during the service. Since we are a “well-child” nursery, anyone with a temp over 100.4 or any symptoms of sickness will be asked to stay home. At this time, non-registered children cannot be accommodated.
*After a quick good-bye, a greeter will walk your child to his or her nursery.
*Children will have their hands washed upon entering the nursery. Hand sanitizer will be available at check-in for parents.
*Our nurseries are fully stocked with diapers of all sizes, wipes, and clean toys, so we ask that diaper bags remain at home.
*Ensure your child is well fed and used the restroom/diaper change before entering the nursery. We have disposable sippy cups for water only.
*If any child begins to exhibit symptoms of sickness, they will immediately be taken to our solo nursery with a caregiver, and parents notified via pager.
*When it is time to pick up your child, please send one parent/guardian in to quickly pick up your child at his or her nursery door. There will be a basket for you to drop off your pager.
*All nursery caregivers are professionally trained in the field of childcare, working with Sarasota Memorial Hospital Childcare, St. Marks’s Episcopal Preschool, etc, and have completed Safeguarding God’s Children training. Each has been thoroughly background checked.
*For the safety of all, strict COVID protocols will be in place, including teachers’ masks, and the installation of air filtration systems.
Expanded nursery care will follow as we make our way through the pandemic, and we look forward to being able to offer nursery care to infants and “crawlers” sometime soon. Our 4-year-old PreK class will resume when Sunday School is back in-person.
