THRIFT SHOP IN DOWNTOWN SARASOTA, FLORIDA

Church of the Redeemer’s Episcopal Thrift House is staffed and managed by a team of volunteers, mostly from the parish. The team also includes a contingent of caring community volunteers who donate their time and energy to benefit Sarasota’s needy. Diane Miles is the manager. LOCATION

The Episcopal Thrift House is conveniently located at 1503 Second Street in downtown Sarasota at the corner of Lemon Avenue and Second Street. The shop is just across the street from the bus station and Whole Foods Market.

HOURS

Monday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

MERCHANDISE

Items for sale at the Episcopal Thrift House include costume jewelry, books, artwork, small furniture, lamps, china, houseware, linens, men’s clothing, women’s clothing, and much more. Nearly all of the items for sale in the store have been donated by Church of the Redeemer parishioners, with additional items coming from store volunteers and friends throughout the community.

All profits made from sales at the Episcopal Thrift House go directly to those in need. The Episcopal Thrift House awards grants annually to area nonprofits.
