Church of the Redeemer offers $250 St. Scholastica Grants for public school teachers to help teachers provide educational enhancements to their classrooms. All full-time K-12 public school teachers in Sarasota and Manatee counties are eligible to apply. Teachers can apply for a St. Scholastica Grant by filling out a brief online application.

Grant applications will be reviewed by a committee and awarded at the end of January 2024.

Individual donations from parishioners and community members are essential so we can award as many grants as possible. Can you contribute to the St. Scholastica Grants Fund? You can also give via cash or via check by writing “St. Scholastica Fund” in the memo line.
Another way to support the St. Scholastica Grants is by purchasing a pack of Christmas cards featuring art by the K-12th grade Sunday School students at Redeemer. They are available in the Church of the Redeemer Gift & Book Shop as well as in the Redeemer parish office. All proceeds benefit the St. Scholastica Grants.
