An all-American music program featuring the premiere of William Dawson, Jr.’s Fusion of Poetry & Music: Songs for Voice and Chamber Orchestra based on the poetry of Florida Poet Laureate Peter Meinke. Soloists are baritone Christopher Holloway and soprano Linda Hines Holloway. Other works on the program are by African-American composers Jessie Montgomery, Scott Joplin, George Walker, and William Grant Still in honor of Black History Month.
