Jeff Hoover

Jeff and his wife, Denise, moved to Lakewood Ranch in 2021 and joined Redeemer in 2022. He is a lector and intercessor for the Saturday 5:30 p.m. service and Sunday 9 a.m. service. He also assists with usher duties at the Saturday 5:30 p.m. service. Jeff has volunteered at Redeemer’s bed-build program to benefit area foster families, participates in Men of Redeemer events, and was a contributing member of a Redeemer strategic resources group in 2025 that recommended ways to expand our community impact.

Jeff grew up in the Episcopal Church and was baptized, confirmed, and married at the same church in Western Pennsylvania. He has served on the Vestry at previous Episcopal parishes.

Jeff and Denise walk their dogs a couple miles every day, and he enjoys anything that allows him to be outdoors, including cycling, golfing, and hiking. He likes to travel, particularly to Europe, the UK, and Ireland, and learning about wine from different regions around the world. He enjoys time with his daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and his soon-to-be first grandchild.
