Jud Boedecker

Vestry Member

Jud joined Redeemer in 1981. He and his wife, Jacki, were married at the church in 1975. Their three daughters were baptized, confirmed, and married at Redeemer.

Jud serves as a lector and usher at the 9 a.m. service and an officiant for Morning Prayer. He previously served as a Vestry member, Mission & Outreach Committee member, Long-Range Planning Committee member, and van driver for the Hispanic ministry. Jud was a member of the founding team for the Stations of the Cross Good Friday Pilgrimage on Main Street.

He is an attorney and serves as trustee of a charitable trust. During his career, Jud developed single-family and multi-family residential communities in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Jud enjoys tennis, sailing, and reading. He serves on the board of The Glenridge and Pines of Sarasota.
