Welcome Team Intern

Newt Hurst joined the Church of the Redeemer team in September 2025 as a Welcome Team Intern.

Newt may be the youngest member of the staff, but it didn’t take him long to master the art of making people feel at home. His job description includes wagging his tail enthusiastically at everyone who walks into the parish office, napping, and playing with his big brother, Beau.

Newt has already discovered his strongest spiritual gift — joy!
