We’re looking for ushers for our 9 a.m. Sunday mass. If you’re interested in serving, please contact Rich Hill at P.I.Rich.Hill@Gmail.com.

The Episcopal Thrift House is bedecked in fine ladies evening wear, purses, and shoes, and we even have a few tuxedos! This is quality merchandise at bargain basement prices. We need men’s short-sleeved/golf shirts, giftware, and home goods. You can shop and donate at the same time. Visit us at 1503 2nd St. in downtown Sarasota.

Serve on the Altar Guild! We have an acute need for women and men to serve on our Altar Guild. If you’re interested or have any questions about this vital and rewarding ministry, please contact Marsha Devitt.

Join the needlepoint guild: Redeemer’s needlepoint guild meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. If you’d like to be part of creating more needlepoint work for the church, contact Patty Sullivan at PMCKSully@Gmail.com.

Redeemer’s Foster Youth Initiative helps local foster parents, biological parents, and children in the foster care system. FYI partners with CarePortal, a program that creates circles of care around at-risk children. Working with social workers from the Sarasota area, FYI is in direct contact with families in need. Needs like these come in on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. You can support this ministry at Redeemer by sponsoring a need or making deliveries. Interested? Email Jackie Overton at JOverton@RedeemerSarasota.org.

Dominican Republic church parish hall: Construction is underway on the second-floor parish hall at Iglesia de Monte Sión in the Dominican Republic. Thanks to your contributions, Redeemer built the church, which opened in November 2018, and is now adding a much-needed parish hall. The hall will be used for Christian formation and fellowship and as a focal point for the community. The church is growing, with average mass attendance often exceeding 40.

Our Annual Operating Fund makes everything at Redeemer possible. Pledge cards for our 2022 campaign were mailed in December. They’re also available in the narthex. Please return your pledge card as soon as you can. Thank you!

Give to Redeemer: It’s easy to give to Church of the Redeemer. Visit RedeemerSarasota.org/Give, mail a check to the parish office, or donate at mass by placing a check in the alms basin.
